Dark Room Archives
My black and white film photography is rooted in the traditional process of developing images in the darkroom, where each photograph is crafted with patience and precision. The darkroom is where my vision truly comes to life—transforming negatives into tangible prints, one exposure at a time. I embrace the tactile, hands-on process of developing film, from the careful timing of the exposure to the magic of seeing an image slowly emerge in the developer tray.
The beauty of working with film lies in its rawness and permanence. It’s a slow, intentional approach that contrasts with the immediacy of digital photography, allowing me to capture everything from architecture and street scenes to portraits and landscapes with a depth that feels organic. The deep blacks, soft grays, and striking whites of my prints highlight details in a way that is both timeless and intimate, making the darkroom a crucial part of my creative journey.
